The Salvador Summer Festival is an annual music event celebrated since 1999. The next festival’s celebration will take place during 4 days from 25 till 28 of January, 2012.

This Brazilian Music Celebration provides a sample of MPB music (Brazilian Popular Music), Pop, Reggae, Pagode, Axe, Rock, Techno and more.

The highlight of this edition will be the participation of Casarão do Ritmo, which will host shows of pagode, samba, forró e sertanejo. Another release will include a creation of a comfortable lounge, Espaço Maresia, that will serve as a meeting and resting place for the public. Finally, the traditional “electronic tent” will be fully heated and will have more space for dancing.
